Welcome to MarketWatch Monday.
Here’s what happened in FBA business sales this week…
Sold Amazon FBA Listings
This week we found three sold Amazon FBA businesses and no pending sales totalling $1.8MM. The median multiple of the sold listings was 1.9x of annual net profit, which is considerably down from last weeks 2.7x. This is due to two of the three listings being under the $15K price point.
There were two delisted businesses found this week and four listings that were no longer available (either sold or delisted), with a total list price value of $1.7M.
In total (sold, pending, delisted & unknown) that takes $3.5MM in listings off the marketplace this week.
New Amazon FBA Listings
Sixteen new listings came to market this week, ranging from $50K – 2.9MM. Interestingly, half of these businesses are at the $1M price point and above.
The median list price multiple is slightly down this week to 2.9x annual net profit. The median multiple for business under the $500K price point was 2.4x. Whereas, the median multiple for business above $1MM price point is 3.2x.
