MWM: 2 Sold for $415K, 15 New Listings

October 22, 2018 By coran

Welcome to MarketWatch Monday.

Here’s what happened in FBA business sales this week…

Sold Amazon FBA Listings

This week we found two sold Amazon FBA businesses and two pending sales totalling $1.9MM. The median multiple of the sold listings was 1.94x of annual net profit, which is down from last weeks 2.25x. We should note that for both last week and this week all sold listings were under $500K in list price which is why the multiple is so low.

There were four delisted businesses found this week and two listings that were no longer available (either sold or delisted), with a list price value of $2.5MM.

In total (sold, pending, delisted & unknown) that takes $4.4MM in listings off the marketplace this week.

New Amazon FBA Listings

Fifteen new listings came to market this week, ranging from $4K – 47MM. Interestingly, over half of these listing fall into the million dollars or greater price point.

The median list price multiple is slightly down this week to 3.1x annual net profit. The median multiple for business under the $500K price point was 2.5x whereas, the median multiple for business over the $1M price point was 4x.

That’s all for this week’s FBA MarketWatch Monday. For access to the new listing links every week, sign up for the FBA Business Price Guide.
