Welcome to MarketWatch Monday. Here’s what happened in FBA sales this week…
Sold Amazon FBA Listings
This week we found 2 sold Amazon FBA businesses and 3 pending sales totalling $2.6M. The average multiple of the 5 listings was 2.73x of annual net profit.
The largest sold listing this week was by us (The FBA Broker). It was a long process as the business was based in Germany and the buyers were from Malta. More on that in a future update.
3 delisted businesses were found this week and there were 5 other listings that are no longer available (either sold or delisted), with a combined list price value of $2.4MM.
In total (sold, pending, delisted & unknown) that takes $5MM in listings off the marketplace this week.
New Amazon FBA Listings
8 new listings came to market this week, ranging from $80k-$2.5MM. Interestingly, 50% of businesses listed for sale this week are over the $500k price point.
The median list price multiple is down slightly to 2.80x from 2.85x. This might be due to a number of the sellers being retailers rather than private label or proprietary brands.
That’s all for this week’s FBA MarketWatch Monday. For access to the new listing links every week, sign up for the FBA Business Price Guide.
